Most of New Mexico's population huddles along the Rio Grande. I can look across the highway and see desert, then look behind me and see people irrigating hay-crops using water drawn from the Rio Grande through a network of irrigation ditches. Needless to say, the irrigated land maintains a thriving insect population. Considered duct tape, but we get some fierce winds here. I was afraid the window wouldn't stand up to it without a bit more rigid support. We all live in a Jello submarine,
