Today on a t.v. ad, I saw a tree hugging an environmentally friendly energy efficient house. Plausible? I think so.

Sean quotes:""Just like it's illegal for you to kill my dog, but it's legal for me to have her euthanised for any reason I choose.""

Sean:"An apt analogy. But, it reduces a human being to the status of pet. Which is what the law has done."

I feel sympathy and empathy for all of our fellow life-forms. Humans, for their part may *hit* you with their dumb cars.

We should even think about our pets, yet, before we speculatively over-extend on assuming a mortgage that is stretching ability to pay beyond reasonable expectations.

Today's paper has an article with a pitiful picture of a cute tabby ending up in a shelter/euthanized because of mortgage foreclosures.
