I sure get tired of tattling on Darren.

Remi,

In the first place, the Biographies board is not a place for essays about historical figures, celebrities, etc. -- right? It's about members and visitors themselves. Darren should be telling us about his experiences with mops and brooms here.

In the second place, this "biographical" sketch includes such gems as "It was in Paris where Karl met his lifelong companion Frederick Engels. Perhaps these two were homosexual as well, but no one really knows." (I don't even know if there has been credible speculation from scholars on this. I do know there has been credible speculation that Abraham Lincoln was gay. Is this board the place for such useless speculation?)

Informative Darren goes on to conclude "Karl Marx descended into Hell in 1883, before he could see his writings put into practice. So he did not get to see the real destruction his writings contributed to. He was buried in High gate Cemetery in north London. If you are ever in the area go ahead and spit on his grave I know I intend to if I ever make it to London."

Is any of this necessary? Is it useful? Is it not just another sermon?

Can I use this board to speculate that James Guckert aka Jeff Gannon was Karl Rove's lover? There is "credible" speculation from comedian Margaret Cho (who has a huge gay fan base) that Rove is a closeted self-loathing homosexual. I mean, if Darren's going to turn every forum into "The Anti-Gay Forum", why don't we all?

Is Darren's obsession with homosexuality curable? Why isn't Darren too busy making love to his wife to care about homosexuality??

Best wishes,

JulieD.
