Now, my vague insipid ambition is to visit Martin Luther's birthplace, in Eastern Germany, in summer, of course. But maybe I'll get to/go see the Abraham Lincoln digs south of Chicago, before that, probably close to Route 66. It appears that Lincoln is entombed in Illinois, not in the big Lincoln Memorial facing the U.S. capitol.
