Edit
Shedevil blockquotes:

These two, existentialism and atheism (which includes agnosticism and skepticism), are more properly types of philosophical thought rather than comprehensive movements.
"

As worded there, I disagree.

Shedevil, in a spontaneous ?? exclamation, a bit vague/incomplete as to subject-verb-object:"Bullshit on parade"

I will gladly agree, since agnosticism is a much broader, category, but one that could concieveably include atheism, I guess. However, I don't think agnosticism is categorically anywhere near as knee-jerk rigid or hostile to theism as atheism appears, as exemplified by the wholesale closing of churches and deportations in the old communistly intolerant (compare phenomena in other "religions")Soviet Union.

Shedevil's remaining content was a bit tedious, I guess, hard to follow, for me, and I'm not making much of any personal connection with it. Anybody else get it?

It is fun to see you pose as the wise insightful researching literary critic, however, Shedevil.
