This deserves some kind of prize.

I thought Darren was unfairly accused of inaccuracies in his statements about Gore and Flynt.

Gore and Flynt: two unfascinating folks. Darren's right on this point, more or less: Flynt helped the Democrats and Gore. Yes, I remember a brouhaha, that didn't give me a haha, over Flynt organizing a fund-raising party for Gore at his mansion. Embarrassed by the news reports, Gore distanced himself from Flynt. I think he disowned the fund-raising party, refusing to attend, or something. Maybe he hid under his bed and refused to talk to anyone for a couple days until the fund-raising event was over. Oh, well. I'm more interested in mitochondria. Where did they come from? What are they doing in the human cell? I have so many questions. Where's my book on Cell Biology?

I don't agree with everything Darren says, but he's strong and interesting in his positions. Strong is better than weak IMO.
