Well, extreme cases do not IMO make for good laws, in general, or cause rational public policy. More likely some hysterical victim-protecting posing "moral" panics just make the "uninformed" more curious, and meanwhile life goes on uncensored in the unskirted barnyard.

I assume that my own younger relatives are supervised by their parents when they access the web. Blind faith, there?

As for me, as a teenager, I once found a Playboy Magazine discarded in the street while riding my bicycle, and subsequently enjoyed the informative articles with no apparent admitted personal harm. /-.

Certainly some people who seem to like giving unlimited power and discretion to the all-powerful state would not even trust the average parent to avoid keeping beer in the kitchen refrigerator, either.
