Some precocious, bright, mature pre-teens would object if they were denied their computer enhanced too for eagerly exploring the world. I assume that my younger relatives are supervised by their parents when they access the web. Blind faith, there? I agree that we can't monitor kids/teens on the web all the time which is something I accept. Yes parents should monitor their children. As far as blind faith goes I would not be able to say because I do not know your family. Finding a magazine such as playboy or even some of the more explicit magazines is not a real big problem. I do not think it's possible to keep these kinds of things from the young peoples eyes it is a part of growing up IMO. I am more curious on what other people think the punishment should be for things such as making, distributing, and viewing child porn or other various non consensual porn. Should the maker have a different penalty if caught than the distributor or viewer? Not in my mind. What would the appropriate punishment be if caught? My punishment I know would be viewed as much to radical. If left in my hands I would say execute them along with all other extremely violent people. Seems to me it would send a message to their comrades but then again it would probably make them be more careful and not change much of anything. Duroc |
