Edit
"I've spent the past 3 years watching it work. Including a month and a half period of time where his meds were being stolen by his babysitter(you can't simple "replace" Adderall because it is a Schedule Two drug) and it *wasn't* working because there were no meds in his system. Trust me, no amount of behavior modification will work on a kid as fucked up as that. I know... I tried"

Bravo Bravo. I also have a child like this. (Actually I expected it. Father, brother (can you guess which one?) and myself all have at least some ADD/HDD) It isn't to admit/accept. But once you get the regimen down it works so well it is amazing. I am especially proud of you Brett. Some might not have looked past the not working to find out about the theft. Just would have said "hey its not working lets stop it" You obviously did the work to get to the bottom. Give yourself a pat on the back. And of course you are correct about schedule II drugs. Your son should do well. Be proud.
