I had to throw in an unfavorable comparison to the things you say on other topics, because if I complimented you without a backhanded insult, you might accuse me of my famously non-existent "mood swings." It's not a mood swing to say that even the people I can't stand are, occasionally, startlingly correct -- is it?

Lest I be completely off-topic, I will also add that the jurors probably know perfectly well that Jackson's not sane, and it's probable that some jurors think he's a pedophile. A verdict of Not Guilty does not necessarily mean Innocent! It means they believed this particular case was not proven. Anyway, I don't know the facts of this particular case, and I'm proud of it. So I'll stop now.

My real gripe with the Jacko affair was that the U.S. media thought it was so fucking vital . . . when they could have served the national interest by reporting on our government, other governments, our war, other wars, things like that. But now we're back to politics.
