Sorry that you have to have this old connection to such a disturbing character, showing up when you're least able to handle it ("It felt like a lie, a perversion of reality.") I'm much less into amateur face-reading than I used to be. I looked at all those MJ pictures, but I just got nothing. Interesting captions, though. I think a lot of people might feel what I feel, just glancing at his various faces: revulsion. Not that the surgery is so incredibly awful -- some people look that strange naturally. I think it's just that the surgery is evidence of some kind of self-loathing, and that comes across very quickly. I'm not sure people are instinctively compassionate; I think that's more of a superego thing. So when one sees someone who seems to hate himself, one's first reaction might be to hate that person as well. Not that I truly do hate MJ -- what's the point? -- but there's that nauseous reaction. I can't get into examining him. It's depressing.
