I enjoyed reading your original post. I even went and read the replies between you and dwa. I do have a quibble with your post though. Bush says one thing about punishment, but is there any evidence he used it? I mean is it possible he was just playing to the crowd?

P.S. I'm sure there's some clever punning or word play behind your deliberate misspellings, like "subtile" and "aduilts". Hope to get a clue some day . . . .

5 years later, we now know there was no clever at all, just an old guy thinking he is clever. Just comparing then and now though, it appears you were right about him getting worse. Perhaps a scan for cranial plaques is in order?
