Here's Skibummer's critical post at TT Abortion.

Whatever her deficiencies, I thank my own mother for staying at home when I was an infant, and for not being a smoker.


I do admit, I use a sharp stick when I jab at people who are quite proud with some claim/mention of their fleeting financial success, and may even have a well-paid working wife.

Is turning one's infants over to strangers for care potentially risky? It certainly shouldn't have to be, with modern breast pumps, and all.

Let's ask Dr. Spock, ... again?
