If you do, you'll find for one thing that she did talk to the mother of the victim and got nowhere, and that she confronted the friend and likewise got nowhere. You'll also find that this occurred in Eastern Europe, where the police force has a rather unsavory reputation, and she was concerned that outing the antics of this group would result in reprisal against a close friend who was gay, though not pedophile. The police in that part of the world, at that time, would not have seen much of a distinction. I would have taken a different course, but I find it hard to criticize her too harshly given that the freedom and perhaps the life of an innocent third party might have been at stake. http://www.truthtree.com/Childab/posts/878.html "Robbins’s claim fails because the Hobbs Act does not apply when the National Government is the intended beneficiary of the allegedly extortionate acts."
