SKB, If you look way back at the very beginning on this thread, you will see that I have said the very same thing several days ago, and perhaps a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry, but in reviewing your posts, that is not what comes across. Safety was not evident in your posts. Lets look at them:

Replacing BOTH sets of chromosomes would be needed in order to clone. If you replace the chromosomes from only ONE cell, that would be very similar to creating a test tube child with you being one of the parent. In cloning, you would be both of the "parents".

SO, if you clone a human today, the source will be both biological parents of the clone. The carrier of the fetus will be nothing but a surrogate, similar to a "test tube" conception with both biological parent's chromosomes in a different womb.

Technically no. When you are cloning, you are replacing BOTH sets of chromosomes with that of the donor. The donor’s parents are totally out of the picture, or you would be producing a sibling rather than a clone.

Why do you think society bans incest???? If in case you didn’t know, it is because the problems that can occur from interbreeding. Cloning would be worse than interbreeding. I don’t think you can understand that.

And I could go on, but the point is made.

Think Snow!!!
