There has been some relevant discussion on this question mainly between Boris (who has a daughter professionally involved in DNA tests), Skibummer, and me, at TT ABortion. I approach these issues as things not being strictly the exclusive domain of the "professionals", and therefore accessible to inquiring intelligent laypersons. I have been somewhat gleefully reporting that DNA tests are demonstrating the serious deficiencies and fallibilities of our criminal justice procedures in the USA. Now, for some balance, I believe it is IMO scientifically very appropriate to inquire about just how reliable these "quick" laboratory DNA testing procedures really are. Googlers, start your search engines! And may the best googler get the first free blood transfusion, as needed.
It depends where you are getting the tests done. While most analyses are straightforward, some require a great deal of expertise in interpretation. We have this expertise at Wiltech-Bio. The level of quality control that we use means that our tests are not the cheapest on the market but they are extremely reliable and best value. When we give you a result there is less than one chance in a million that it could be wrong." . . .Time Wounds All Heels (o;,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,,¸¸,ø¤º Proud Member of The Reality-Biased Community. ,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,¸¸,ø¤º°`° º¤ø,¸¸,,¸¸,ø¤º |
