The Corporations are sick of dealing with the people from whom they get resistance, so instead of writing a bill on the issue, they are introducing legislation to create Unconstitutional Non Governing Organizations like this, to give their corporations the power to do the legislating, and the legislators (who want to go golfing) simply hand over the power. This is how the Trans Texas Corridor (Part of the North American Highway) got so far in Texas being built, before the Texas citizens finally stormed the State house (700 of them) and put a stop to it two years ago. We (our group of 22 Ohio "core working" Citizens with 300 other "visiting and testifying"citizens) were up in the Ohio state house working on the Milk Bill when this happened, and the Texas Citizens knew we were there, because of connections through the Weston Price Foundation. We had headlines in the newspapers every day. Now... think about that. All it took was the coordination efforts of 22 people. Many of our 55 Ohio Meetup Groups are easily big enough to take on 3 or more of these issues as a coordinating work group. Texas citizens called our Ohio Group to give us a heads up on the NAIS that these global corporations tried to slip under the statehouse door in while they were fighting the Nafta Highway....The Corporations had passed the legislation stealth in two states already. They were trying to slip it to Texas and Ohio at the same time. If not for the citizens who happened to be in the statehouse working on the Milk Bill here, and the Trans Texas Corridor there......we would have never known about the NAIS, the North American Union, the North American Highway, or these illegal shifts of legislative power to private corporations. We really have the fight ahead of us. I do realize, and so do many, that time is running short. We do have to get out of the Meetup Berlin wall of communication, and start bringing our Ron Paul Revolution into concert with the rest of the revolution. We are the only people organized with boots on the ground, for the greater part of the revolution to build itself around. We must make of ourselves... the communication backbone for these great people who know how to get the job done, but who could only get it done in one state at a time for lack of people..... boots on the ground. And so... anyone wanting to really work hard to stop this kind of thing, hang out. Here is what you can do to help: 1) Pick your battlefield in Ohio (choose a law, or an issue that you have seen on the Ron Paul Slim Jims, or some other thing that you think is just as important that did not make it to the slim Jims. (Like this issue at hand with the Mother Act) 2) Contact me, and let me know that if you had your wish, you would be working right now with at least 20 other people on [Name your issue] 3) I will put your name on a list under the issue you send me. While we are working to get more people out of the 55 Ohio Meetups who have expressed a desire to work on the same issue that you want to work on, You can be getting your issue ready for your group in the following ways. 4) As soon as you decide your issue, go on a search for any "national web site" that deals with your central issue, and make contact with them on the phone, to locate an attorney or consultant on the issue you want to start working on in Ohio. It does not make a difference if the attorney (or consultant) is outside of Ohio or not, to begin with. You simply want to talk to a revolution attorney, or someone who has written and passed legislation before, one who is trained in your issue, who knows how to locate an Ohio Attorney (or expert) that is also trained in this issue who is in the state of Ohio. While we worked on the Milk bill, we started out with an attorney named Pete, in Florida. Pete later helped us hunt down an Ohio Attorney named Gary. Originally all Pete did was listen in on our conference calls, because he worked for weston price, and wanted to help us get started. 5) Very Shortly here, we will be surveying people in all 55 meetup groups in Ohio, and joining people of like mind together, in workable groups of 20 to 30 people to help them get started with a conference call system, and a way to contact one another in an Issue work group discussion. All we will need then, is some Columbus people strategically located to carry our legislation in to the house, and get the legislation a "sponsor" and even "Co sponsors" The whole process is really fun... in the end, and I would encourage everyone to pick an issue over the next two weeks to gather around. Here are the issues that are ready and waiting for us at the Ohio State House right now. 1) The N-A-I-S (a law that needs to be repealed) 2) The National I D Act (a resolution in Ohio Has been introduced against the Rea l ID. If you want to work on this issue, Call and find out who wrote the resolution. When your group is formed, from Around Ohio, your members will need to know this information.) I just sent out the main site for the Re al Id yesterday. Does anyone have that? 3) The Election Integrity Fight: We have Columbus Professional lobbying people and staff, standing ready to help any group of citizens to introduce legislation that directly fights as competing legislation with what the Secretary of state plans to introduce. We can stop "madam secretary" in her tracks. It just takes finding 15-20 people out of our meetup groups who think this is the issue for them..to get together. I can introduce you to the people working at the statehouse. I can introduce you to the people who can help you write and submit your own legislation. And if you choose to create a work group around this, you can bet you will have hundreds of Ron Paul Revolution friends show up with you on when the day comes to voice our opinion to the state legislature. 4) The NAU: Just a couple days ago I got a notice in the Email, that someone has introduced a resolution in Ohio against the NAU. Here it is. it was introduced on October 25th. I copied and pasted for you. My only problem with these notices is that they are training you to believe that "writing" and Calling is the only thing you can do. This is not the case. The Ron Paul Revolution is capable of really bring the slammer down, and sending 300+ people to the statehouse, on ANY issue we want, if the testimony or hearing day is forced upon the legislature, and a coordination team of 15 to 20 people is on the issue, making sure the rest of us receive notice in time to act and get down there. We are capable of using teams of 15-25 people to work with attorneys and actually introduce our OWN legislation if we so decide. Here is what I got in my email on the NAU. Contact any of the organizations below, to get your work group started. Start with two people in your meetup..you know... one of your friends. That's all you need to get started. Once you have two, let me know, And I will send others your way. If you contact these sites, and you find they already have a smal group to join.. by all means join them, and keep posting back to your home meetup on your progress, any time you need help. Also, this post below came from Harry in group 241. He has copied the law from the Ohio Revised Code, for you to look at. Here you can see an exemple of how they hand power over to private corporations and NON profits, and anyone... that we DID NOT ELECT to make law. It's a great example of what is going on, and why we Ron Paul Revolution people have to get involved in our State house in a big way. The days of writing letters are over.
