By 1985 the gays were all in agreement that Aids was being downloaded into the eager mass of do it to me psychologically bio altered organisms.
Aids first appeared on mass media on NBC morning with Tom Brokaw in early 1980, maybe late 79. The curious thing about it was that the media pre supposed it as an epidemic long before there were any Surgeon General alerts, general JAMA recognition,notable medical specified awareness doctrines - or for that matter, any real,tangible recognition of "Aids"as a looming health problem. In other words:this was the first major epidemic in history that, at the outset, received more attention from the media than the established medical community and its information offspring. |
