Clearly, some of the reproducers are not caring very much/very effectively about assured future guaranteed bread-and-butter supplies.

This inevitable competition is a fairly automatic prescription for global "criminality", IMO.

In brief: Some of the causes of starvation and food shortages reside IMO with the groups that are hedonistically and/or "helplessly" reproducing at the very limits of Malthusian growth possibilities.

Are world-wide "permits" for reproduction in the works, as in
China, or will you merely be issued a selected clone to "nurture" in time to hold your own Jaguar (?counterfeited in China basements by teenage girls) parking spot?

Summary: The trend towards "big brother" reproduction control is accelerated and even justified by population pressures.
