I hurriedly re-checked the position statement.

It says:
"'Occam's razor' - if there are two hypotheses that explain the data equally well choose the simpler."

I guess we will just have to find some test cases and scientifically/statistically see if the simplest hypothesis/solution was the truest or the best. I think my reference to the Bose-Einstein condensate phenomena shows that getting to the total truth may be extremely arduous, require laser cooling, and maybe even be dangerous (blown glass breakage) and time consuming, in contrast to comfortable snap judgements.
