I would not, will not, describe how my links will feel to you. But, since you have described my posts as generously and unselfishly responsive, you might reasonably expect to find my links to be generous, and also responsive to the context in which they were suggested.

I grant that in some contexts a "vast potpourri of smorgasbord goulash, usually with some onions or garlic" is decent and sane. In other contexts it might only be self-indulgence, and thus neither generous nor decent.

The backdrop to this is that the universe is unfolding every instant different in some degree from every prior and every future instant. Words used carelessly, or rather automatically, as "you"s often cannot do much justice to this truth, but what certainly is true is that every scientific law now in existence will in due course be seen as a special case and replaced (as Newton's laws of motion were replaced by Einstein's equations at high relative speeds) by more fully coherent laws. Likewise no story/essay will ever be permanently valuable any more than any scripture will be. Quae cum ita sint, your reluctance to read my URL is understandable; but such reluctance, if an apparently obtuse policy can also be described, with some claim to objectivity, as very selfish and irritating to someone whom obviously you hold in both modestly high esteem and affection, and thus constitutes a more or less categorical affront to the Golden Rule. what's this
