But lets add the last sentence.

Drastic times call for drastic measures but what can be done that hasn't already been done. What's missing from the equation which holds in the balance not only the six billion plus people of the world but Western Civilization itself.

If you think nothing then that is exactly what you will get, but if you actually believe something good can happen then maybe it will. Remember, the power of positive thinking does have merit.

I, too, am a realist but if we look at the situation in the Middle East with nothing but despair and uncertainty (which is true) then that is exactly what we will get.

This is why I believe (and you should too) the power of God. With Him all things are possible. If we think it is impossible to end the Middle East conflict then it will continue unabated but if we look at it from the perspective it can be resolved then it can.

You state, how many times has there been supposed accord witnessed. How many times have hands been shaken . . backs clapped . . roadmaps unfurled . . peace treaties agreed upon. But treachery and openly veiled veneers are always apparent. With people, yes, but with God no. As the Judge of mankind His is not only righteous, but also holy and pure.
