Edit
At first blush, this web site appears maybe somewhat unscientific and agendaed.

However, the full range of effects of meth may not yet be fully scientifically explored, and accurately reported, as well as with alcohol, perhaps, at the "addiction", chronic consumption level.

I am willing to be suspicious of p-p-p-Prozac and other mind-bending chemicals, so this is just a logical extension of that.

Is the risk of road rage adequately balanced for the public at large by someone not falling asleep while driving? Hm.

"
Methamphetamine has a luring effect of 8-12 hour highs, is often readily obtainable, and gives the illusion of more productive hours in the day without rest. However, the reality of methamphetamine is its extreme psychological and physical addiction, as well as an extreme depletion of necessary chemicals in the brain, which pushes the user into paranoia, physical degeneration and violence. The degenerative effects may be long lasting or even permanent."
