Yes, drugs are big money, along with the "control". Controlling drugs is the business of gov. There is no business on earth that has the cash flow of drugs, not even Hollywood. More cash is tied up in drugs than in mortgages, if you consider liquidity.
Drugs are the flowing river, whereas amortization, financial instruments, stocks, insurance, and real estate are the dammed rivers. Holding evidence of assets and using those holdings to leverage more assets.
The American Left has invested enormously in drugs, so much so, that their personal development of portfolios is retard, maybe even co-opted by the cartels, so that their habit pulls huge amounts of capital out of the international financial markets.
They appear elegant in their mud spattered SUVEEZ, but the mud is there because of their time investment in securing drugs. No time to wash car - besides, that's decadent, who needs it, it's part of looking good in the church parking lot, and anyway...
