Parallel to this concern is the idea that power figures should try to "first, do no harm".

I would be inclined to see that when the public wants a park in *your* own daffodil backyard, they should either work around "you", or else go somewhere else.

Nothing that government tries to legally do should be accompanied by high visibility adverse consequences. It just is not really necessary, probably, and there are work-arounds, such as adding more wind turbines to generate electricity, and save salmon migration routes in delicate ecosystems.

If bats and "swine" (plural of "swan"?) are being swatted by the blades, then maybe, IMO "government" should go build their wind electric turbines in the Sahara Desert, in the first place, where they may have little or no impact, and may actually be beneficial to someone/something, like give a little shade to a camel.
