Sorry if you felt I was ranting, I try to deal in facts and logic. The lowest
ever co2 levels came from a show I watched on the Discovery channel a few years back. They were drilling ice cores and analyzing the gases extracted from them. From that data they created a chart that showed average temperatures going back millions of years, precambrian era I believe. (we are starving for oxygen now also, according to that information) The jist of the show was that a lot of the species that lived then would suffocate in modern times. As of yet I have not found this info on the net. I do stand corrected in recent history 50,000 years ago (a blink of an eye in geologic time) we had less co2 than today. But today we also have less co2 than we did several million years ago. Don't get me wrong we need to stop dumping pollutants into the environment, we are killing ourselves. Cancers and autism are on the rise. But we should be more worried about the genetically engineered foods and organisms that we are releasing into our biosphere than we are about co2 levels. I view the entire co2 issue as world government trying to fund itself with a carbon tax. I would help push a bill to make the drug companies get our turtles and fish off of Prozac. I am sorry if you think this is "crapola" but differences in opinion will cause that. If you would like I can connect the dots from Federal Reserve to CO2 levels. Some of it may be conjecture, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck..... Your Friend In Freedom PPS  |
