Frank:"Well, then how do you suggest detecting the input of an intelligent designer? " Well, step one, question the assumptions. It seems to me that an overpowering popular intuitive assumption of "evolution-process-only" prevents some of the very same people who would be best equipped to sail westward from even trying/doing/working on that. Naturally, the Bering Strait gaiters up between Russia and Alaska, coming at the problem from a different side/direction, never needed an "evolution" theory to just keep on intelligently following the mastodons and other fair game. Summary: Human perception, even of researchers, is influenced by past experiences and expectations. I find the "evolution-only" construct/approach to be merely a large scale sycophantic social/academic parallel to the popular sense that the earth is flat. |
