Edit
I said: I do hope you realize that non-coding DNA is better for determining phylogenies than the stuff that actually controls something important.

DWA: Why so? I do sense a possible circularity of reasoning there.

What circularity?

DWA: Do you mean that there has been a "determination", based on Darwinist assumptions, to group phylogenies according to their similarity of non-coding DNA?

Well, you can make an assumption, but then you have to see if the data supports it or not. If a "Darwinist" assumption doesn't produce workable results, it gets tossed out. What about ID assumptions? What would you expect from them? Given your idea of using parts off the rack, would you expect any variation in coding sequences at all? How do explain what is seen?

DWA: You also seem to be begging the question of possible underappreciated/unappreciated significance and possibilities in the "non-coding" ?junk DNA.

Not at all. Why should that vary between designed organisms either?
