Frank:"Well, you could start by presenting some research-based ID literature that impresses you. Oh, but wait, there IS no actual research-based ID literature. Well, I guess your skepticity is safe until someone actually tries to find design in a system not known to be designed by a human on this planet. I'm betting it won't be you."

I have never claimed to be a Thomas Edison, Frank.

I am enthusiastic and supportive of basic scientific exploration and research. The total body of knowledge is practically infinite, though, and we see precedent/episodes of (?us) "intelligent" creatures creating complex unique stuff.

My head is *not* in the sand, and it seems to me that practically all discoveries on the biological frontiers result in more mysteries and questions than answers.

It would be arrogant and absurd to ask a Detroit engineer to try to explain "things" to a 1950 Studebaker coupe. As with trying to teach pigs to sing opera, it might even be annoying for both parties.
