DWA: Another aspect is over-eagerness to "prove" what they already have decided that "they" want to believe.

This is not a perfect follow-on, but supportive of your attitude, CF.

The recent T.rex connective tissue analysis theme, previously object of ridicule by me at TT Evo, was already visibly tainted when some media ran with the ball and presumed that chickens came from T. Rex.

While even you finally had to admit that the scientists involved never said anything about chickens coming from tyrannosaurs, this pretty nicely demolishes your usual cranking that evolutionary science is just a moated keep for sycophants.
