Whatever words listed in thy Exodus 3:14 version were originally articulated in Hebrew. Can we trust a Hebrew-speaking person to be scrupulously honest with Christians seeking an English translation? Can we trust a Christian English-speaking person to be clear on the semantics of one trained in Hebrew? Translating is not an easy task at the best of times. In the KJV, "God said "I am that I am ...... The Anglican venerati who agreed on that particular translation, no doubt after consulting Hebrew scholars (rabbi?), recognized that the ancients from post-Mosaic times were clear that "God is not anthropomorphic".
