Crossbowman: "In effect, if I understand you, you're suggesting that Skeptic's difficulty in showing respect for and restraint with those with whom he disagrees may disqualify him from acting as moderator, since a moderator must invariably play host to posters with whom he disagrees.

Disqualifying Skep from holding the responsibilities of a Truth Tree Moderator might be one feasible solution, but it's not given either to you or to me, CBM, to execute such a solution. Should it be that Skep has not only been following this post but is also now willing to admit, publically here in this forum, that, yes, he has had very great difficulty showing authentic respect for, and therefore posting restraint and equanimity, in relation to, those with whom he disagrees, then that would instantly, in my mind at least, transform this situation into a more hopeful one, would it not?

Wouldn't such an act of contrition by Skep be beginning a process having tangible micro-evolutionary promise of a yet better solution for, I hazard to estimate, everyone posting on the Truth Tree?
