Is it my imagination, or do the black people who have a chance in hell of getting into politics normally Republican?

Powell, Rice, Keyes, etc?

How many black politicians are Democrat?

I'm developing a theory that the Democratic party thinks that they can take black people for granted, so they don't allow too many blacks to be politicians. By contrast, the Republican party needs all of the help that they can get, so they wave around their token blacks?
