Silverfox: "It was only a couple of years ago, two days into Israel's war with Hezbollah, that Jacques Chirac sat in a garden in Paris and announced to the press that Israel's opening salvos were "completely disproportionate" and added that "One could ask if today there is not a sort of will to destroy Lebanon." Three days later he sent Dominique de Villepin on a solidarity mission to Beirut."

The announcement Silverfox's post excerpts from former French President Jacques Chirac's remarks were preceded by a firm declaration that "Israel has a right to defend itself". Silverfox's post omits this statement. Why? Does Silverfox have a "sort of will to defame Jacques Chirac, or do the people pulling Silverfox's strings have that will?

Silverfox's post also describes Dominique de Villerpin's mission to Beirut as a solidarity mission. The word solidarity is (a) a gross simplification of M. de Villepin's purpose and his actual accomplishment, which was the bringing about of a cease fire, and (b) a noun, not an adjective. what's this
