I find straight salmon, even if smoked to be lacking in appeal, but the local salmon dip is/can be great. Naturally, wild salmon tends to have flavor, and pepper does help. Tip, learned by accident <-: Try some fresh strawberry with a bit of black pepper. It helps the pepper. .
