In a momentary Freud-tolerant good mood, I would not entirely fault Freud on that one.

Those who did sincerely sweat blood while nailed up somewhere probably had expressed their harsh truths convincingly adequately (in and out of court, and at the marketplaces) to gain some general and logically justifiable credence.
