Angus: "The profession of psychiatry is based on the insights, and also presumptions, of Freud. In Freud's case his presumptions amounted, one may cogently claim, to him feeling himself to be the only sane person on the planet as a consequence of a clientele quite different from Hubbard's." DWA: "In a momentary Freud-tolerant good mood, I would not entirely fault Freud on that one." No one was faulting Freud. My statement was matter of fact. If you have evidence to the contrary, pray present it. If you do not, kindly cease wasting people's time. Angus: "So, cher M. Silverfox, sur un arbre perche, how dost thou determine, sans cavalierete, if another is honest?" DWA: "Those who did sincerely sweat blood while nailed up somewhere probably had expressed their harsh truths convincingly adequately (in and out of court, and at the marketplaces) to gain some general and logically justifiable credence." I notice that Silverfox did not answer my question and that DWA appears sometimes to think he must save Silverfox from mental crucifixion. Would Silverfox die if he were mentally crucified? I think not. But we may find out. If he were mentally crucified, he would perhaps emit some sign of his mental expiry. (I read, and believe, that Yeshua of Galillee uttered a groan upon becoming unconscious on his cross). So perhaps DWA will join me, and perhaps other TTers, to await such evidence as Silverfox may choose to vouchsafe us as to his mental state?
