"As to the difference between courage and bravery, I think that courage manifests in a wider range of activities than does bravery." IMO, courage is required to reveal the necessary bravery. Courageous thought is inspired by noble ideals. Wisdom hones noble thought. These are the catalysts emanating in brave deeds. The deeds do not necessarily have to be of a physical, macho manifestation. Unfortunately, I was not around to witness firsthand, the courage and bravery of the many that are now chronicled. At least I have had the privilege of witnessing first hand, the wondrous courage of Nelson Mandela. More is the pity that there are not more men of his calibre, alive and in places of influence, on this planet today! |
