Edit
I doubt the Pushtun Taliban had any interest in any connection hypothesized by any pundit, Pushtun or non-Pushtun, between the explosive they used to disintegrate the Buddha statues and Swedish production of dynamite. Given that the Chinese invented gunpowder, I myself posit distractively, but in any case respectfully to DWA's possible pertinence, that the Taliban's supply was Chinese.

In any case DWA's imagination of my (corresponding to his possessive pronoun "your") conjecture Swedish connection was groundless. Notwithstanding my Nordic genes, I had no thought of Swedes Sweden when composing or posting my post! I confess indeed to considering the supplier of the dynamite to be almost irrelevant, only retaining a smidgeon of possibility of relevance in my mind only of deference to DWA's potential to surprise me with a brilliant new theory of currently inconceivable (by me) significance.

Pending that occurrence manifesting I await someone's explosion of the verity "violence begets violence", whether the Talibani dynamite was financed/supplied by Russian, Pakistani, Chinese, US, Iranian, or Swedish sponsors/packager-labellers. what's this
