I will make a mental note of that and look around for indications of what may have happened to non-communist Chinese, in general besides those who went to Taiwan in 1949.

Unfortunately for us "outsiders" we are not intimate parties to the dissenting dialogue within the Red Chinese orbit. On the side, the

As far as your theory making the USofA causative of the Cambodian genocide, I think that is just one of those scenarioes where opposing communism in SE Asia had an unforeseen, even fairly unlikely sequel.
