I understand your reply and concur, regarding the sensibility of the Canadians. The United States are really the 'Divided States', when one considers the division in political referendum that exists south to north. One could say that the entire strategy in the Middle East is a direct outgrowth of Confederate ideology. The Theocon basis for war on sand niggers finds torture,civilian squash,assasination of religious leaders,and other forms of military domination a regular accepted protocol that divides the body politic and enhances the vicious recrimination of conservative media against the liberal status quo.
