Barbie represents the triumph of plastic as the waltz of humanity progresses from an iron and steam industrial revolution, to a media and plastic reality, that introduces the robotic age. By 'robot'I refer to a civilization that begins as a human engineered interactive consciousness, constructed by media, and programmed into human interaction. All media addicted humans are robotic in their reaction to stimuli. Speech patterns are the firm indication of external programming. It's fascinating, that the addicted public assumes they are so quick and contemporary, when in actuallity, they are the most programmed and enslaved.
