Well, this time the message I got was clean. No porn, no pills, no casinos. But I received one earlier today (I don't know who sent it) that was full of dozens of links. Be sure to read the new stuff on Evo. I think it trims the intelligent designer's toenails pretty well. But on the subject of snake oil, I always thought for some reason that snake oil was supposed to repel snakes. I found out from Wikipedia that it's just a term for some kind of questionable treatment, likely to be fake. So I modified the position statement to say that we should choose "snake oil that really works" instead of "snake oil that repels snakes".
