German Jews who had attained enviable positions in Germany were disturbed by the Cabalistic 'movement' in Poland and Hungary. They held emigrant Jews in Germany in contempt. The main power brokers were out of Germany as the Reich was entering a formation phase. Witness Einstein's emigration to the US. The Diaspora that brought Jews into Russia and Spain and later to Germany and France was fraught with disturbing cultural transitions from the 10th C. The Reich was incubated in anti-semiticism because Judaism is an exclusive and closely held genetic nucleus of information that came to earth by the power and grace of Hashem. The development of Christianity from the Passover Seder up to the present enhanced the development of European civilization at a price. All grace is at cost.
