Why does Silverfox have the gall to expect anyone should reply to his expletive-not-deleted post? It may be a testament to the high degree of consideration TTers have shown him. It may be that his self-image as a far-from-thick person is (temporarily?) a little shaky. It may be that he thinks his contributions to the TT merit someone rescuing him from that shaky self-image being permanently upset.

No one is asserting that thou art thick, O Silverfox. I doubt anyone has (recently) had such a wildly improbable idea. Certainly not I.

What DWA is pointing gently out to thee, a suggestion I have echoed, is that the links thou postest would, were one to download them at dial-up internet connection speed (the most economical available), require us to assign them a very considerable priority. Given that, why would anyone download them?

DWA is saying that a short exposition from thy (indubitably far-from-thick) keyboard would be valuable to his answering that question for his (very own good?) self. And I request no links from you that contain anything other than (a) untampered photography of nature in the raw (South Africa being world-renowned for the plenitude of its wildlife-in-the-wild and thou being, in my estimation, a veritable connoisseur of wild life) or (b) thine own authentic writing (that of others being much less interesting to me).

The Truth Tree has been seriously given a name include the word "truth" by a seriously rational (and usually not disparaging) chappie by the name of Dr. Robert Scott, aka Remi. So, how might we, to honour his contribution to life and the contributors and readers he has attracted to his TT site, aptly contribute? What about only with unadulterated truth, verbal or graphic (but graphic only in the expletives-deleted sense!)

OK, old chap? what's this
