Dummy,
In the dark, (the absence of light) , a blind person with a knife is more effective than a person who can see, with a gun. The reason, is the blind person is very familiar with the dark, while the person who can see is not.

Within MY house, which I am very familiar with, a person who is unfamiliar with my house is at a great disadvantage if he comes with unwelcome intentions. If he has a gun, he is apt to lose a hand, his entire arm, or his life, and unless he fires the weapon blindly, he would not get a shot off.

A sword in close quarters is much more effective than a gun. AND, if YOU, an untrained person with my katana came at me in my home, you would most likely die also. AND, unless you swing the katana blindly, you would cut nothing before dying.

Just as I am trained with my katana as a nidan, and my belief that an untrained person should not try to use one, you SHOULD be trained to use your gun well enough or not try to use one.

See, I am NOT for banning guns. I still own two handguns and a rifle. I just don't want untrained Bozos like you owning them.
Your IDOL,
Boris (The Handsome Genius)
