This addiction is, I think we all know, the main reason Islamish terrorism has been able to catch hold of the imaginations of the millions of disaffected, sometimes desperate, Muslims who have wrought such havoc in response to the US-led West's aggressive policies in search of ways to avoid giving up North American's addiction to oil.

So what are TT participants going to do about it? Face this truth honestly? Or go insane resolutely avoiding doing so? Coherence is a precious mindbody value:

Honesty: The discipline/capacity of avoiding either inaccuracy or deception and of being reciprocally open about intentions. The sine qua non of self-respecting sanity

Verbal Integrity: The discipline/capacity of being true to one’s word, or promptly honourable in warning of exceptions imposed by unforeseen circumstances. The sine qua non, with honesty, of a life in which one continues must become wiser

Coherence: The discipline/capacity of (1) searching for and either eliminating or explaining, the paradoxes underlying one’s own behaviour, thoughts and aims and (2) gently helping others to do the same. The sine qua non, with honesty and verbal integrity, of a life in which social harmony has a chance of occurring.
