Myths about the developing world

I could have agreed with you more at one phase in the
past. I'm mellowing, somewhat. However, I am more hopeful about pockets of
enlightenment, namely, just now, Senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman, who do
seem to posess and project some moderation and integrity.

John McCain is as much of a slime ball as the rest of
them.

Do you remember the McCain-Feingold campaign reform?

Talk about making your own rules......

He opted in for the matching campaign funds (his campaign was broke at one
point).

According to the rules if you take the matching funds you get to put your name
on the ballot in each state without collecting signatures to do so.

I spent Christmas Eve getting signatures to put Ron Paul on the ballot in my
state.

Later McCain decides to opt out of the matching funds program, but he managed to
keep his name on the ballot.

Technically I don't believe he gets to keep his name on the the ballot, but the
FEC (Federal Elections Commission) is unable to make a ruling because we do not
have a full panel of FEC members. Members are selected by the president and
approved by congress. Congress is unwilling to approve Bushes appointees. So
this election is essentially being run without an effective FEC in place. (Can
you smell the BS?) The Meetup groups have been putting a little pressure on
them to try and make something happen. McCain is a New World Order puppet.

I keep trying to wake people up to the fact that America
is becoming more and more Fascist.

MSM people want you to believe our country is being run by idiots. (I could not
disagree more)

I am believing more and more that we (USA) are ruled by some of the most
manipulative geniuses of our time.

Try getting involved and you will see how the deck is
stacked against you.

On the bright side the Republican Party is getting a
health infusion of Libertarianism.

Most of the delegates elected so far are Ron Paul supporters :-)

Sadly they are bound in most cases to vote for another candidate.

But I have heard rumors of the delegates overthrowing the popular vote.

Wouldn't that just be a "Wake Up America!" pisser. LOL
