Edit
The hopeful aspect of global warming there is that the weathering rate of rock on the continents would increase with higher temperature and increased average rainfall. Also, carbon dioxide dissolved in Himalaya/Tibet/Siberian rainwater is slightly acidic, likely/able to dissolve rocks better. Furthermore, more rainfal and longer growing seasons in temperate and arctic would IMO tend to increase plant photosynthesis, oxygen production. In natural unfarmed preserves, anyway. If the crop growing acreage is too big, of course, we are *doomed* for one more malthusian reason.

I have noticed that the viscocity of rain water on my back windows is reduced when I turn on the electric heater. So, it also seems conclusive that ocean evaporation will increase average worldwide rainfall, with higher temperatures. (Assumption?)

Last 2 paragraphs of Silver's possibly slanted link:"Ocean acidification will also change the geographical distribution of important groups of marine organisms. An example: Unabated CO2 emissions will result in decreased carbonate saturation in the northern and southern polar regions by the end of the century. This will render these areas uninhabitable for calcareous organisms such as, e.g., the pelican's foot that produces aragonite. This means that the base of the marine food chain is being damaged.

In parallel with ocean acidification, temperature increases due to climatic change are also to be expected. These two effects are not independent: increases in CO2, for example, can reduce animal tolerance towards temperature. Coral ecosystems, in particular, are an example for this coupled effect of simultaneous decreased carbonate saturation and increasing water temperatures. "

Silver:"If things carry on as they are now....a simple lunch of fish & chips, will be unheard of in 2100. "

The plasticised synthetics and advanced nutritional amino acid dosages will probably be optimised, by then. I visualise even having to recycle the used plastic fillers that we/our inheritors will get to eat at finer (but familiar) Mc
