Quite recently the city of Seattle, after much indulgent tolerant delay, found it time to evict a squatter from a tree on public land, under a high bridge. It was some hundreds of square feet in size, I believe. The same general neighborhood, ?Fremont, by 2 Universities ?tolerates annual nudistic parades.

Sympathetic neighbors found an RV (recreational vehicle) for him to move in to before the tough city mashers arrived. RVs are hard to heat, but no where near as bad as a drafty cobbled-together treehouse.

Alternate plan, artfully dig and conceal mole-holes in blackberry-covered hillsides next to freeways, circulate and dumpster-dive after dark falls.
